When one is an extremely busy person, he cannot help but feel very drained because of all the work that he is constantly doing during the day time. Now in this case, one would usually rely on coffee or energy drinks for that temporary boost of power however the problem here would be the side effects. Now if one would want to get that extra boost but not suffer the side effects, then he should take some herbs for energy.

Now one of the most common of all herbs would be none other than the legendary ginseng. It is actually one of the most popular of all herbal medicines as it has a lot of properties that can actually give people a sudden jolt of strength. Its essence is actually widely manufactured and used in most energy drinks nowadays.

Now second on the list would be its equally popular but not mass produced sibling which is known as gingko. Now gingko is a kind of herb that is known to produce a lot of ATP in the body. Now for those who do not know what ATP is, it is a chemical that would give the brain the order to process more glucose in the body which of course in turn will give a person more strength and adrenaline.

Now fatigue is actually one of the causes of loss of strength so if one can take out the source, then he can take away the effect. It may also help a person develop a strong resistance to stress and also to fatigue.

Now another really good herb that can be used to make tea would be the nettle which is extremely effective but has no side effects. Now the reason behind that is nettles are chock full of vitamins and minerals which would of course help the body. To make it, one just needs to put some nettles into boiling water and leave it overnight.

Last on the list would be none other than the Reishi mushroom which is a very rare herb used by Chinese doctors for many years. It is known as the elixir of life because it can give a lot of energy in just a short span of time. Not only does it do that but it can also boost the immune system of a person by tenfold.
